For my multimedia class, my assignment was to create a raster-based animation using images collected from archives. We were to explore any folklore, and I chose the Filipino tale of the Makahiya flower (shy plant or mimosa pudica). It's a story I heard as a child—this is my way of returning to my roots.
I created the collages in Photoshop and animated assets in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
